Genal Field Station

The Genal Field Station (GFS) is a project for the people and for nature, localized at the Genal Valley (Málaga), one of the best preserved mediterranean landscape. We seek to set up a friendly space where to gather to learn about ecology and to contribute to nature conservation.

GFS is a private, self-managed NGO project.

We organize environmental volunteer activities to learn about the biodiversity of the Genal Valley and its surroundings, and to promote its conservation.

We promote citizen science and the use of public scientific databases. All interested parties can participate by attending the survey days and uploading their photos and data at Observation.org.
